  1. What’s the weather been like on Mars 😁
  2. Bit of a banana skin this one.. I’ll go for a disappointing 1-1 draw.
  3. Dreadful game, but a great 3pts 👍
  4. Good to see Dapo will probably start on the wing. He looked less effective in the middle.
  5. No he doesn’t, he’s just being controversial to seek attention.. a very needy person!
  6. I presume you live alone Hughmongo? I can’t believe anybody would choose to be in the same house with such a miserable tw@t!

Yes, I thought exactly the same, he’s cool, uncomplicated, no fuss, just does his job with ease and technically is probably our best player (at the moment)..

Hope you’ve learned the error of your ways? Never ever give up on the White Army.. remember Reading at Wembley and you’ll always believe 👍

Yes, you’re bang on, that’s exactly what he did say.. he didn’t buy our fish & chips though the tight arse wazzock. I still have the recorded vhs as well. But no video to play it on. 🤣

That Hull game brings back memories of stardom for me.. we were filmed eating fish & chips with Rob Palmer outside a chippy which was shown on Granada’s kick-off show!
  12. 1972/73 was our promotion season under Jimmy Armfield so I started at a good time.
  13. You’re right, it was the previous season: 18/09/1971 D3 Bolton Wanderers 0-1 York City so I’ve been a fully fledged trotter longer than I thought..👍😁
  14. One Christmas Day when I was about seven, I came downstairs in my new football strip.. red shirt, black shorts and BLUE socks 😳 asked my dad which team it was and he said “Manchester United I think” - so I was a scummer for a couple of years with a huge poster of George Best on my bedroom wall which my brothers used to throw darts at 😁 Then in 1972/73 my brother took me to my first game at Burnden, sat on the huge steps on the embankment v York City. We lost 0-1 but I was hooked and never returned to the dark side. Good job I had an older brother to show me the right path..
  15. Sheff Wed match postponed due to frozen pitch the day before a game. And Hillsboro used to be a preferred venue for FA Cup semi finals..
  16. A chap at work used to be a Bury Season Ticket holder (I don’t know who the other one was) and he’s now a Utd supporter - makes my piss boil that! if we’d gone under I would’ve gone watching Chorley..
  17. Interesting point that. when we were a decent team I used to enjoy watching the match with a relatively clear head (2 pints max) that way I could appreciate the game from a tactical perspective. since we’ve been shite I tend to prefer watching with a fuzzy head (up to 4 pints & a hip flask for regular in-match top ups) this method seems to help me get through the 90 mins without contemplating suicide!
  18. Premier League you tit.. It’s the Premier League, how did you not know that?

🤣🤣🤣 Agreed.. ..Unless your name is JJ
  21. Cheese is bonkers, I love it (especially a strong cheddar or Stilton) but it’s all aver the place and tries to be so many different things, it gets confused about it’s true identity and nobody knows what’s going to turn up next.. (Smoked Cheese or Cheese with bits of fruit is just Crackers!)
  22. He may be a flawed genius like Casa Curcic who was a brilliant footballer but mad as cheese!
