Ken will get what he wants and he knows it. That’s why he’s doing it. The likes of Michael James and Eddies family who watched him devote his life to us, won’t let the club die. Ken knows this and will get what he wants at the last minute. He’s got us over a barrel in that respect, the slimy cnut. Hopefully after he does, he also gets his comeuppance.

Been away on holiday so haven’t been reading as much. Can anyone tell me, for the notice of withdrawal from the league. Do we have 14 days from tomorrow? Ie if they choose to kick us out. Is there then a 14 day period for us to sort our shit out and do a deal? Also, how long is the period from when the administrators ‘begin the closing down of the club’ on Wednesday until we actually shut? Basically, how long have we ACTUALLY got to sort this out?

I know, but having money is a start at the moment, wether they want to spend millions on the club or not. The actual fact they’ve got the money is more than football ventures seem to have, so lets take the risk.

Let’s hope Nixon’s right, and Kamani’s want the club for the right reasons. It could potentially be plausible given @Benny The Ball ‘s earlier post about their other investments and link to sports... hopefully anyway. FV aren’t filling anybody with confidence, if they’re struggling this much now, how the hell are they going to run and fund us long term when things get tough and they’re all on there own. Atleast the Kamani’s have money. I’m hoping they get the hotel now, we aren’t getting anywhere with FV, we may as well take the risk on the Kamani’s

Nixon seems to think hotel deal will be concluded soon, then everything falls into place from there. He says there’s a buyer for the hotel other than FV who we can only presume must be Kamani’s, then after that the club gets sorted... Don’t know how....unless he knows something we don’t about the Kamani Bro’s wanting the club, it’s hard to believe. Hope he’s right now, lost patience with FV completely. If Kamani’s want it, get it sold to them and let’s move on.

Really lost confidence in FV now. Even if they do get it done, don’t hold out much optimism for a future under them. Hope the Kamani’s are using the hotel as a back door and do want the club, because if they do we should snap their hand off.

Bassini seems to be referring at the start of that phone call to the original high court hearing where he was used as ‘the buyer’ to save the club. As he points out the transcript from that high court appearance between Anderson’s lawyers and a high court judge reads.. the buyer (Bassini) has proof of funds (which he now disputes in this court case, did he lie to the judge?) and is present in court, an agreement is in place etc etc... all this info was used as evidence to ‘save the club’ because of the ‘agreement’ with Bassini This was all told to a high court judge by Anderson’s lawyers themselves... who are now back in the high court trying to dispute what they themselves told the judge, as if it is in correct. Im not an expert but that doesn’t sound good to me.... are we fucked!?

Fucking frustrating as a delay, but surely this is as simple as wait til Wednesday for the judge to fuck him off? All we should need is a statement from the EFL that he hadn’t met the stipulations of such contract and been passed by them. Case closed? ... right? ... please!?

I agree, he deffo deserves a chance... just the way he spoke post match he just didn’t seem like someone who was confident he was staying. You'd think having met the new owners a few times he’d have a fair idea.

Don’t object to him staying at all with the way he’s handled everything. Just found his post match comments really interesting. He really isn’t talking like somebody who know’s he’s staying. Quite the opposite. If Sharon wanted to keep him and he wanted to stay long term surely they’d of given each other those mutual assurances in the meetings they’ve had....I think he knows otherwise. He stays until the takeover is done, gets what he is owed. Then they appoint their own man & he gets a break from it all.

Yeah I agree, in the Bolton News article he talks about his meetings with Sharon but also mentions her being good for the club going forward even if he ain’t around. If hes had meetings with her and she was keeping him surely she’d of given him those assurances. His comments would suggest not.

Seen a bit of post match stuff. Anybody else think Parky doesn’t seem confident he’s staying? Still questioning his future and talking about the new owners taking the club forward and pleasing the fans. He’s had a few meetings with Sharon, if she’d given him assurances surely he wouldn’t be so unsure?

Jeff Thomas has resigned from both FVWL Football Limited and FVWL Hotel Limited. Doesn't leave many left... Does anyone know why they had 3 companies in the first place and not just the two? One for the hotel and one for football? They’ve got the original Football Ventures whites, fvwl football & fvwl hotel. Do they not just need one for hotel one for football?
