What a shite day that was. Couldn't get a lift till friday night, then got offered one from 3 lads who I didn't know from Radcliffe. They picked me up from the Grapes at Stoneclough early morning and never stopped for a pint on the way, and no beer in t'car. Had a few in a pub near Selhurst, where one lad who worked on the other shift from me told me I was about to be made redundant on monday morning. Great day, not really.

Spent most of me youth on the Stoneclough Strip, Hare & Hounds (Flying Head), Grapes (Swinging Skirt) and Tavern (Creeping Sparrer). Used to go in Space City an all where all the rock chicks drank blue bols. Why ?
