Birmingham Ladies .v. CHARLTON LADIES (6/5) - Womens FA Cup Semi Final

Some information on the womens` matches.

National Division standings:-

1. Charlton 13 1 1 50 16

2. Fulham 11 2 1 46 14

3. Arsenal 9 2 1 44 8

7. Birmingham 4 5 7 15 27

8. Bristol Rovers 3 3 12 27 37

Some league results:-

Bristol Rovers 0 Arsenal 3 (Nov 23rd)

Arsenal 3 Bristol Rovers 1 (Feb 22nd)

Birmingham 2 Charlton 3 (Aug 17th)

Charlton 1 Birmingham 1 (Dec 7th)

Fulham 1 Charlton 2 (March 7th) - end of Fulham`s 53 match unbeaten run.

Notes:-

- matches being played on Sun. 14th March - Bet365 have them as Saturday games.

- although Bristol & Birmingham are at "home", the venues are neutral, i.e. Bristol Rovers at the Memorial Ground and Birmingham at Solihull`s ground.

- likely to be played to a result on the day

- Charlton will have England striker Carmaine Walker and full back Eartha Pond available before they start suspensions. Walker didn`t play in the league draw against Birmingham. Birmingham miss two key players.

- Arsenal recently took Leeds` unbeaten home record.

Opinion: Arsenal look a good bet. Charlton are in form and 6/5 looks OK.

Lee Cook is 40/1 to score the first goal in the Ipswich vs Watford game today with Corals which is live on Sky at midday.

The best price elsewhere is 12/1 at SJ or Stanley.

He is not a guaranteed starter today as Lewington has talked about changing the team that beat Derby on Tuesday but if he doesn't play you will get your money back.

He has scored a few goals recently - 5 in total this season and 2 of those were the first goal of the game - and although its far more likely that Ipswich will score first he can't be ignored at that price.

I'm not suggesting anyone goes mad on this but it may be worth a small punt. I'm on anyway so fingers crossed!
