what were the numbers taken to the games, forgot?

 

At a guestimate - Plovdiv 2,500; Bestikas 400; Guimaraes 3,000; Marseilles 4,000

I asked the club and they said we sold 352 tickets for Besiktas, but some of them will have been to people wanting the stubs or just souvenirs (only ??10 a pop). So real figure might not have even made 300, which is backed up by still piccies from the tv coverage. Paper that Carlos got in Istanbul the next day said just 200 but it will have been more than that....

Not far out then. Who buys tickets for souvenirs? In the words of my not-right honourable collegue Casino eejits! My Bestikas ticket is covered in squad autographs I got at Istanbul airport drunkenly flying out. I'm not trying to show off - but feck it I will :yahoo:

They both look ashamed at what has obviously happened the night before. But if you look carefully she's craftily looking round the square, secretly hoping that some of her gosspiy neighbours have noticed that she's spent the night with a "young" Englishman. Portugal are our oldest allies after all :rofl:
