No joy yesterday.

2 today:

Aperitif: 4.00 Sedgefield: win and place

Lake Chini 7.05 Haydock: place only.

Neither ran.

I've been unable to keep this updated for the past fortnight sorry, but I'll bring it all up to date today.

I've not had the time to study the horses so I backed everything that ran from the list below 20/1 for a place. I also backed some of them to win if I fancied them. I'm not after-timing, though.

Out for a Stroll: 4.30 Brighton

Spirit Rising: 5.30 Brighton

Motaraqeb: 7.15 Sligo

Alfresco: 8.00 Bath

I don't expect any of these to actually win today, but I suggest backing all to place except Spirit Rising

All were unplaced.

3 losing bets: ?11.96 @ 3.2, ?7.97 @ 4.3 and ?11.96 @ 3.2

A loss of ?31.89 on the day.

Week 3 so far: 4 losing bets at a cost of ?38.16!

6 runners today:

Dandy Man, Reverence, Sierra Vista and Wi Dud all go in the 3.10 York.

Just back Dandy Man and Reverence (for old time's sake: the ground won't be wet enough really!) for places.

Clearly in Motion runs in the 5.25 Fontwell: back to place.

Supercast goes at 5.40 Chester: leave it alone.

Angel Voices missed a place by a short head.

5 runners today: no great shakes though.

2.50 Kempton: Landucci

5.40 Kempton: Alfresco

3.55 Newcastle: Kames Park

5.00 Huntingdon: Capistrano

5.25 Chepstow: Out for a Stroll

All could get placed or all could fail to be honest.

Landucci is ridiculously priced at 24.0 on betfair and could actually win given a run.

I'll back all just to place: I only need 1 to place to show a profit on the day.

2.50 Kempton: Landucci: 9/1 winner: ?5.07 @ 6.2 returned ?30.12

5.40 Kempton: Alfresco: unplaced: loss of ?5.37

3.55 Newcastle: Kames Park ended up 20/1+, so NO BET

5.00 Huntingdon: Capistrano: non-runner

5.25 Chepstow: Out for a Stroll: unplaced: loss of ?8.77

All could get placed or all could fail to be honest.

Landucci is ridiculously priced at 24.0 on betfair and could actually win given a run. I had a few quid there, but won't include it in the stats.

Week 6, Day 1:

3 bets

1 winner

?19.21 returned ?30.12, a 56.8% profit.

Tuesday has just the one runner: Captain General 3.45 Lingfield: decent chance, back to win and place.

Is anyone backing these, or should I save myself the time I spend posting them?

This list doesn't rip trees up, but it has provided me with a steady income for the past few years.

The stats I quote are to return a ?25 profit per winner (after any commisssions, of course!) How you choose to use the list is up to you. My mate follows the list and stakes his bets to provide a ?100 profit per winner. Since I restarted this 5 weeks ago, he's made over ?1500 profit.

Captain General just missed a place: finishing 4th.

Losses of ?5.00 and ?21.05: ouch!

2 runners tomorrow and both could win, but might just get edged out.

John Keats 4.30 Ayr

Resplendent Nova 4.40 Kempton

At the moment I'd just advise a place bet, I might back them to win tomorrow afternoon, once I've had a good look, but for the stats it's just place bets.

An each-way single on Replendent Nova, together with an each-way double on the two, has shown a rather nice profit. Cheers Traf :good:
