Ofarel D'Airey came 6th of 7 at 11/4 fav.

Value Scope does much better with his long shots IMO. Both his selections today look good prospects at the odds being offered, I also like the look of Poquelin in this one too, as an eachway shot.

VALUE SCOPE FOR 12/01/08

Djorkaeff is working today ( I didn't believe it either! )

So, he's asked me to fill in for him:

Today's selections both run in the 2.30 at Warwick:

The advice is 2 x 2pt e/w bets on:

Mr. Ed (currently 25/1) and Strong Resolve (also 25/1).

Good luck everyone.

I prefer Blue Splash and Kilbeggan Blade.

It's amazing what effect these Value Scope picks have on the market: Mr Ed is now 16s from 25s and Strong Resolve is 22s from 25s.

Top Boy's selections: 4th and Pulled up before the 16th

Value Scope: 5th and pulled up before the 11th.

A moral (if not financial) victory to Top Boy.

I hope Djorkaeff doesn't mind me taking a bit of a liberty here. I follow the Value Scope religiously and have noticed that the prices drop massively on the tipped horses over the course of the morning. Obviously the earlier you get on, the better price you should get.

Today's tip is a 2pts win on 'Bonus', 3.00pm, Lingfield. Quoted price of 11/2 but currently 5s is the best on offer.

6/4 favourite, finished 3rd.

Jockey error to blame IMO, never gave the horse a clear run.

indeed, I watched the race, and had a better jockey been onboard, the horse would have romped it. One to look at in the future possibly
