djorkaeff
Villa should have been 1-0 up at half time. Thought they were better than what they showed tonight.
Salfordwhite
The three teams that were bottom of the league going into their fixtures across the weekend all won!! Spurs Us Toon Just goes to show how tight this league is and will be come the end of the season
Tyler Durden
Villa were awful, Toon were long-ball merchants.... but that's ok because it was "long passing to use Ameobi"....
Smiley
if and buts. but if we'd beaten Everton on Wednesday night - we'd be sat pretty in 7th spot right now. crisis? what crisis?
magic legs
I'm not anti-Nolan but if he'd slotted away that pen against the Geordies we might not have got into the mess we were / are in.

Moderators Carlos Posted November 4, 2008 Moderators Share Posted November 4, 2008 I don't worry about Newcastle and Spurs as they aren't actually going to go down, it's Wigan, West Brom, Stoke et al I worry about.
Traf
I don't worry about Newcastle and Spurs as they aren't actually going to go down, it's Wigan, West Brom, Stoke et al I worry about. My thoughts entirely. Hull Boro Pompey West Ham Stoke Blackburn Sunderland Fulham Wigan Bolton West Brom 11 teams that could conceivably go down IMO. Of those: Hull, Pompey, West Ham and Blackburn seem the safest on paper. (Only because Hull had a great start: the implosion and 10 games without a win will happen!) Smiley
amazing - a season or two back we were worrying who we'd be competing with for 5th spot! And even having the nerve to consider 4th!!!
magic legs
I did that BBC predictor thing last week and got West Ham down with Stoke and WBA. Above this was a whole raft of teams between 35 and 40 points. I don't think anyone is goign to get cut adrift until April at least.
Burndens Bogs
I don't think anyone is goign to get cut adrift until April at least. Of course the flip side to that is....There won't be many teams guaranteed safety by April either.
