Gonk
Back on toipic, from the official site Gary Megson has had a near fully fit squad to select from and that has resulted in no place for Riga, Danny Shittu, Nicky Hunt Danny Ward, Chris Basham, Mark Davies or Paul Robinson in the matchday 18. Official Site, must be true
Guest
Back on toipic, from the official site Official Site, must be true If it is true, then McCann for M Davies, changing a winning team, was a very strange decision. As was leaving McCann on instead of Muamba
Henry_VIII
Back on toipic, from the official site Official Site, must be true Thanks Gonk Find it a strange decision dropping somebody completly out of the squad from being in the starting 11 for our first points of the season. tylswhite
He was THE best player on Saturday He was shite, he got skinned loads of times. Muamba bailed him out 3 or 4 times in 1st half because he was too slow. The amount of times he gave the ball away was ridiculous.
Boby Brno
I thought McCann was the worst of a bad bunch in the first half but he improved in the second. I lost count of the number of times he challenged his own players for headers though!
Widnes Two Hats
injured yesterday? Ive not seen anything about why he didnt play. He was arrested for continuous cottaging in Nelson Square toilets, when allowed bail he was then caught importuning with Bert Tyldsley in Manchester Arndale bus station toilets and was therefore kept in overnight, apparently he also had a Morrisons carrier bag with him and has also been charged with going equipped. Released this morning apparently
bwfcol
Thought McCann was one of our better players on Saturday. McCann was off the pace, by the end of the game he was really struggling to keep up with Stoke players. He also dives in a lot, gets skinned and generally has no passing ability. Muamba has improved this season, he needs good players around him though and the decision to take him off at HT baffled me.

Great pass to Klasnic nearly saw us score. First half he was awful, but they all were.

jolly-olly
I'd like to see a bit more of young Basham. In the glimpses I have seen of him he has looked decent enough.
