Moderators Casino Posted May 11, 2010 Moderators Share Posted May 11, 2010 i'd be more keen on klasnic if it wasn't with davies wilshere, or similar as the 5th midfielder, with good widemen, supported by holden and muamba, and i'm pretty chilled not sure wade elliott is 'good wide men' and a 4-4-2 with klasnic and wilshere just doesn't work, for me

Athywhite_Mike
A centre midfield 3 of Wilshere, Muamba and Holden would, imo, be very good when playing away from home against a strong team with Davies up top as lone striker...

Everyone will be sat on a beach by now, and with the World cup approaching fast i can't see much transfer business being done till the second half of July. Site Supporter Tonge moor green jacket Posted May 18, 2010 Site Supporter Share Posted May 18, 2010 Can't quite get my head round this lazy tag. The lad has quality: a good touch and an ability to play a quality, easy ball to supporting players outside the box and a good goalscoring instinct. Take Robbie Fowler; did he charge around to left back to win the ball? If we have better players who have more confidence in a striker that can find a supporting team mate rather than have it bounce off them, then strikers won't need to run around stupidly- keep the ball for a bit and let the oppostition do that!
