athywhite1958 Posted August 21, 2019 Share Posted August 21, 2019 Good game at Colls last night despite the attrocious summer weather, we got stuffed 4-2, could so easily have been different, we hit the bar and post but generally couldn't finish. Warrington are 2nd favourites for the league and are a good side so we weren't disgraced, good to see a few Wanderers fans there having a break from the goings on at the Unibol. I thought Warrington were quite good & deserved the win but Colls made a good game of it. If BWFC folded, I'd probably go to the odd Colls game as the closest to Bolton team at a reasonable level ( ahead of the likes of Chorley ) , but even though it's a really good set up, it could never be a substitute for the Wanderers for me. Would still have preferred to have been watching Bolton last night but I've reached the stage where it will be a relief to still have the problem of fixture clashes in the future. Talking with my mate last night, I realised that i've never ever been to Tyldsley or Astley.
