What was exaggerated was his crew at the England v Finland at Anfield walking down the road singing "You can stick your fcuking England up your arse". The pub and road were half empty as it was almost kick-off time. Haven't read the book, but went to the game. We got out of a taxi behind the Kop with about 10 minutes to kick off and there was loads of them (all in black) marching to the ground. Didn't kick off though.
