If we were playing away in Israel tonight then that's where I'd be, not posting bollocks on the internet like a keyboard warrior.

I'm always amazed by someone professing to be a "proper fan" not going on jollies.

Don't say you're skint, you find the money! Or you get a credit card :D

Some of Stoke's players playing in Israel last night doesn't alter the fact that they are more expensive, higher quality players than most of ours. It's only 6 years ago that we followed up a European match with an away win at Manchester City, how times change.City were fresher and put more energy into the match, but our better players came back with the points.

Bolton 0 Stoke 1

was that city game the one we won 1-0 with a penalty?

stop re writing history cos we got battered for 96 minutes

and if we accept that the better players will always win, we may as well accept we're down this season cos we've assembled a right bag of shite

alternatively, we adopt the attitude qpr showed against chelsea and work twice as hard as the team with the better players

y'know, work hard and get organised

it just might work

That is the craziest analogy I think I have heard on here. As Casino said we got hammered in that game and it was only City's wastefulness and ill luck that stopped it being at least a 4-0. Try again.

It was also back in the good old days when we had the ability to keep clean sheets, which guarantees a minimum of a point every game you know Mr Coyle

Wash your mouth out, Cas.

We don't think about the other team - we go out & play our own game, enjoy our football, do our best to attack them.

You know it works.

Aye what a day that was.

Richard Dunne slapped the ball out of play as Henrik flicked it over his head right in front of the Wanderers fans. Was fucking excellent snatching all three points after getting battered all game. :yahoo:
