23 Points Out Of 84 In 2011

To get to that magic 40, we need 34 from 28 games, we're not even close to that, unless some miracle happens, we'll not reach 30.

Carry on like we are, we'll be mid 20's, does this team have in it them to change our results that dramatically and sustain it, I doubt it, especially when there's games against the top clubs also, and we always [not quite, but almost] get 0 in them and usually whilst our goal difference gets smashed.

Spurs x2, City away, United away, Chelsea away, Liverpool and Arsenal at home, Ok we usually do well v Spurs at home, but we are far weaker than those times.

No win at home and already lost to Norwich and Swansea, this is realistic, not pessimistic. if we stay up, I'll be amazed.

FGS how many more negative threads are we going to have about our present situation, its all been said. Now's to time to get behind the team be positive, yes i no its impossible for some on here( Anewman for one ) but starting yet more threads to state the obvious in yet another way is pointless. =D> =D> =D>

Following on from what I said in the "Eddie Davies. Decision Time." thread, we're STILL on the same points as from the same fixtures as last season (ie. same team and same home/away, assuming Swansea replaced Birmigham, Norwich replaced Blackpool and QPR replaced West Ham).

Yes we have to get a bunch of points from our remaining games, but so do all the other teams around us and the difference is that we've gotten more of the horrible fixtures out of the way than them!

Prepare to be amazed, and stop moaning you emo f*ck.

 read the forum rules, omg.

I'm not being negative/pessimistic just for the fun of it, I'm just giving my opinion and what I believe, I'm sure if we win 5 in a row, my thoughts will change, call me fickle but atm Bolton are not giving out anything to counter my thoughts, I could say I have faith, I still believe, but truthfully and looking at it in a kinda neutral way, I think we're in trouble.

Do you abuse people because you don't like negative things said about your club? this is a messageboard, why should I lie, why should I patronize?

Oh do shut up soft lad, you never go to the match anyway, go and play on your games, and patronise is with an 's' not a 'z'

Yes you called me an emo fuck

Like I said, my opinion and what I believe...

then why would I go to the trouble of typing posts

I always wondered why you were spouting the same emo crap every time - you're cutting and pasting. Real emo's don't paste after they've cut...

losing is gutting and sucks

Yes it does, and usually these losses are spread out over a season, which is why you're having such a hard time coming to terms with it. It's a shame really you only started supporting Bolton when they were halfway decent, and you haven't had to endure the hard times a lot of the fans on here have had to. You might be less emo about it then.

You keep saying this, I'm just gonna say that you don't go, it's pretty easy.

And coming from you one of the most abusive posters on here, it's no surprise to see you quote me again and call me a soft lad.

Oh and grammar/spelling police isn't a good thing to be associated with.

So now not only are you being abusive, you've resorted to making things up, I'm 24 and have been seeing Bolton since I was 6/7.

I apologize for not being born in the dark days, I apologize for not saying Bolton are going to be fine and that we are going to stay up, tell me how many of those games last season that you mentioned did we have Elmander, Lee, Holden and Sturridge unavailable.

1. No racist or sectarian posts

2. No posting links to streams of games

3. No posting entire articles from other sources or other copyrighted material

4. No porn or other explicit adult material

5. Treat others as you'd expect to be treated yourself

6. Threatening behaviour towards other posters will not be tolerated

7. Abuse of the moderators, on here or otherwise, will not be tolerated

Could you tell me which rule I violated please?

If you mean number 5, then I'd expect people to call me emo if I acted like you do.

If you mean number 6, it's not really threatening behaviour to call you an emo.

If you mean number 7, you're not a moderator (thank God).

So you've been watching Bolton since 92/93 ish (ie. the Premier League era) - thanks for proving my point for me. I don't really care which of those games we didn't have Elmander, Sturridge, Holden and your lover available - we can only beat the team in front of us with the players we have. I was just pointing out that these "nightmare results" we have had so far are EXACTLY the same as last season - a lot of which those four "Deities" you mentioned DID play in.

Now this is patronising (with an s)... You do know what "Deities" are don't you son?

The thing is I never slag members off, I may slag the team off, and I might respond to people in a negative way, but I've never started it, but it's allowed to continue I don't know why this rule is in place to be honest, you obviously can't accept my opinions, just like athywhite can't accept that I'm not like him or to his liking, it's a bad trait in a person and there's no need for it.

Just argue my opinion, no need for insults.

'Fraid I'm not with you there, Snoopy.

I've endured 7 relegations supporting the Whites, 4 of them from the top flight. And I think currently we're a worse team, with worse performances and the least fight compared to those previous 4 relegations. So far.

If we start comparing this team to the 80's teams, then that might be another matter.
