I didn't think they'd gone far, we've had 'rag-bone' shouters around three times in a week - one time the lazy twats had a pre-recorded shout played over a tannoy, like canvassers during election periods... Â Do they actually collect scrap or is it just a ruse to suss out houses to rob? They were shouting that they'd take stuff I thought was relatively worthless (tellies, old fridges/freezers). Euro car parks have said they would look to fine them for not buying a ticket, but it would be impossible to uphold the fines because they can?t chase the travellers up at a permanent address. Â Serious question, how do they register their vehicles and driving licences? I know it's an offence with a fine up to ?1k for having an incorrect address on your driving licence.
