This Weather.....

Last 2/3 days had a blinding headache

Soon as the storm hit Manc today it cleared

Seem to get it every time storms are building up

I'm same pal. Air pressure busting your ears.

Apparently next week a hurricane in America is going to drift over the Atlantic and push the jet stream up, allowing some good stuff to hit us from the south.

To be honest, never saw a forecast suggesting it might happen. It did piss it down where I was though.

Hoping for an Indian summer now though.

Is it me or has it been the windiest year ever?

You, I think

  • 2 weeks later...

Some of the footage from Texas is mental. Proper apocalypse tackle.

On a brighter note it's spazzed up our jet stream and we are set for an Indian summer heatwave.

It's really bad over there

One of the lads that works for us has had his house flooded up to the first floor

God knows what state our office is in as it's ground floor

It may be American speak but in USA they don't have a ground floor, they start at the first floor.

Shove em up your arse :)

Ha ha yeah I get it from your point. You don't want to be up a ladder in a storm

I get it from my mum. She was born in what used to be known as "lightning alley" - the area going north out of Leeds up towards Scarborough- the flatlands where the A1(M) is. Storms tracking west across the Pennines would veer north and then head out to sea over Scarborough. At 80 years old if she hears a storm she'll go upstairs and sit in a bedroom to watch it from the edge of Winter Hill

All down hill from now, been another shite summer, roll on the falling leaves.

Blimey mate, that's quite poetic!

That signal my Autumnal  hobby

Of merrily quaffing much strong ale

And half a gallon of lobby"

Haha I'm with you all the way mate. Complete weather geek.

To be fair it's very rare we are stopped completely, even in the worst of storms. There's always something we can fall back on. Bit of a challenge is good.

2 years ago took the piss though. 13 consecutive storm fronts throughout the winter fucked us right up.
