DazBob
Been at Lostock CC tonight. Looked like it was going to absolutely pissed it down at 8ish. Wind got up, rained for 2 mins, thunder and lightening and then it disappeared. Can only imagine somewhere nearby got a soaking.
SatanGreavsie
Nothing in Lostock What a cracking film title! In fact, truth being stranger than fiction, it turns out it was the name of a prog rock group from 1996; according to wiki ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nothing_in_lostcock ) : "after the modest success of their first album "Rumworth Lodge" they split up due to "musical differences", with bass player Beaumont Rhodes subsequently undergoing gender reassignment surgery and releasing two singles under the name "Lady Bridge" in an attempt to cash in on Lady Gaga's fame. After they flopped she opened "Wax 'N' Chips", a combined chippy and beauty parlour in Chequerbent. "Pig out as we rip out" was their advertising slogan, to great success. A subsequent appearance on "Dragon's Den", however, did not go to plan. "So Deborah, have you ever had a hankering for a jumbo sausage while you're having your minge done?" was perhaps not the best opening gambit. Their request for £500k for a 10% share in an expansion involving opening 5 salon chippies "right up as far as Standish" fell on deaf ears. Lady Bridge subsequently underwent gender re-reassignment and now works as a moderator on a popular Bolton Wanders football forum".

Been at Social Circle all evening and I think I counted half a dozen spots of rain. Heard a bit of thunder in the distance but nothing much. Drove home up St Peters Way and once we got to Bradford Street, the roads were pissed wet through. It really was a dividing line of rain/no rain. Youri McAnespie
Frosty Jack or White Ace is a no, but to go all al fresco and continental-style with Karpackie 9℅? Fill your boots... Doing a bit of urban park loitering mesen ATM. Not on the Castlefield Bowl/Roman Fort area however, which is fucking turd-laden due to selfish cunts - I'd rub their dirty bastard noses in it (the owners).
