All the sensible ones admit Coyle was stereo typical in his approach but because he had delivered what no one had done in 30 years and got them within 5 mins of a league cup final in the same season they stuck by his all our niaive tactical approach in the premier expecting at first to be relegated. This season has been a shambles, Spirit of Burnden is right that singling one off games as the problem is pointless, the fact is we have nt been good enough. Points dropped in games when we could have toughed out a draw. Of course we have had some bad luck but over a season the table decides and we have not been good enough.
