DomRepWanderer Posted August 11, 2012 Share Posted August 11, 2012 No more meaningless games, pre season has seen mixed performances, but now its for real, how many points do you see us getting in August, 2 home games and 1 away, if my expectations are correct I am looking at a minimum of 7 points, and if we can add some quality 9 points are there for the taking, then we can kick on from there, thoughts. I have mixed feelings, not just about the squad but the managerial team whom I don`t believe it`s up to the task. This is going to be the only realistic chance of gaining premier league status the club will get, fail and I believe it`s years again in the wilderness. Were playing forest at the right time. Im going to be confident. I think we can get a minimum 4 points from derby and forest but cant call The Burnley game. Arnold Jackson Posted August 12, 2012 Share Posted August 12, 2012 The number of points in the first 3 games will affect my mood but not as much as the performances... particularly the 2 home games... last season we were terrible at home and I'd really like to enjoy watching us play again and have a smile on a Saturday neet! There were patches of play in the second half v Barca B where I could see some light... There is a team in there that will never keep a clean sheet but will entertain and win more often than not!
