Smiffs
1. A significant amount of Scousers were disorderly beforehand 2. The police were disorganised during 3. The emergency services as a whole responded badly 4. There was no real cover up and Taylor's report was by and large correct. Scousers will deny item 1 and feed on items 2 and
Guest bwfcdan
Those Liverpool fans wouldn't have been disorderly before the match. Salt of the earth. Wankers.

Underpants
It was gods will because of Heysel. Everyone will be happy and we won't hear anymore on the subject ever again. The Sun will be Merseysides No1 selling daily again. And Liverpool City Council will nominate Kelvin Mackenzie for a knighthood for being a beacon of truth and honesty. Traf
When the talk turns to compensation, that's when i'll lose any shred of sympathy for them This (IMO) is the over-riding factor in all of this. Scousers wanting compo. 96 people died due to a series of bad decisions made by their own fans, the FA, Sheffield Wednesday FC, the police and the ambulance service. (in no particular order of accountability) Group number 1 of that list want to blame the other 4 groups, but the other 4 mistakes would have gone unpunished , but for the actions of group 1. Site Supporter Biggish Dave Posted September 12, 2012 Site Supporter Share Posted September 12, 2012 The Notts Forest fans were to blame for not generously giving their illustrious opponents the bigger, more modern end and now their new billionaire owners will get sued for it
Youri McAnespie
Well, a woman from one the of 'justice' campaigns popped up on a few local news shows as early as last week. She was getting in a pre-emptive strike, saying there probably still wouldn't be full disclosure, as they (S. Yorkshire Police) had probably already shredded files. Whizz
This just shows the attitude the Thatcher government and the police had at the time towards football fans across the country. Absolutely scandalous that it has taken so long for this to come out. I have the greatest respect for the families that kept fighting for the truth, when they knew full well that there had been a cover up. Agreed that the mention of compo will detract from the findings but I'm sure the families haven't fought for so long for the compo.
