It all sounded a bit desperate like he was trying to convince his self. On a sidenote why does he describe nearly every bloke as a "beautiful man". It's a bit weird. I've never been to a boxing event in my life. I'm a casual armchair boxing fan. That's probably why I can't get my head around it. Shows how fucked up and just full of bureaucracy and corruption boxing is. Plenty of fighters that are much much better than him in that division yet is somehow is worthy of a mandatory shot. Ruiz will fight AJ winner of that will probably fight one more before an Undisputed fight for all the belts against Wilder or Fury. Either 1 v 16 , 2 v 15 etc whereby you "should" get the top 4 in the semis or a free draw to shake it up a bit. You fight who you're drawn against or you get your licence withdrawn, until the next World Cup. Once a fight is drawn out, then the rights etc go to tender..
