If BJS couldn’t see out of that eye his corner did well stopping it

To be honest they did well to get him out if he could see... He was about to get destroyed & Canelo was showboating because he knew it. There's only one Gypsy King & it ain't BJS.

And still our Amir, fighting two weights above his weight class, remains the Brit to have given Canelo the most trouble.

Khan didn’t cause Canelo any damage any trouble. Callum Smith took him the distance

I was half joking, but that's nonsense. Of all the Brits Canelo has beat, only Rocky Fielding you could say did worse than Callum Smith. A massive Super Middle, Ring Magazine champion, and he didn't win a round. An embarrassing performance.

None of them did any damage to Canelo really, he's beat them all comfortably. But given it was an absurd physical mismatch Khan did a lot better than fighters who won't get half as much shit.

And Billy, by his own standards, quit.

How is it nonsense? Rocky Fielding KO, Khan KO almost a death, Liam smith KO.

Hatton and Callum Smith took him the distance.

Absurd matchup? he chose to move up in weight, he had no business getting in the ring with him, but he chose to, talked it up how he was going to beat him and got hit with one of the best KO’s you’ll ever see.
His own stupid fault for thinking he would even get close.

Because going the distance is meaningless if you lose every round. Canelo has had tougher spars than the Callum Smith fight. He was talked up as the best Super Middleweight in the world, not some journeyman.

At least Khan, and Billy Joe to some extent, won moments of their fights, even if one got sparked and the other got his face caved in. It's tallest dwarf, granted.

Khan would've fought Wlad had been offered the chance and paid enough, it doesn't mean it wouldn't have been an absurd fight to make. GGG-Brook was similar - although Brook is bigger than Khan and Canelo is bigger than Golovkin.

Did Amir run over your dog or something?

Meaningless? So Smith went 12 rounds with him, Khan lost every round and got his clock cleaned but that’s more meaningful than going the distance.

You said it was an absurd matchup!

No he only runs over central reservations on motorways.
The fact is with Khan, I don’t rate him, never have never will.
Nor do I like him.

Just watched it, had BJS slightly behind, level at a push. He was doing really and his game plan was superb.

However I can’t help but think it was Canelos plan all along to open up on 8.

That’s the problem with Canelo, you can do what you want, match him all the way but your only a split second from near death or blindness. The guys sub human.

As for the Khan debate, he too was doing well against Canelo, he didn’t lose every round, only two of the bent judges thought that.

You can dislike fighters all day long and think they’re shit, but you can’t argue with who Khan stepped in the ring with and what he achieved. He was box office for a short time.

He won some, lost some and lost his way. Plenty of fighters do that. You don’t sell out arenas in US if your shit.

Canelo's mum wouldn't have had him winning every round against Khan.

The fact one of the judges had Khan ahead five rounds into the fight tells you all you need to know, given the scorecards Canelo has had throughout his career.
