Gonk
I heart Cabernet Sauvignon is going down well at the moment for a weekday relaxer - £5 a bottle, 6 or more save 25% at Tesco.
MancWanderer
I’m on Aldi’s Kooliburra Reserve Shiraz at the moment. Lighter than most but at about £4/£5 a bottle it’s superb

Smiley
Love red - but having a bit of white again recently. Sauvignon Blanc being the chosen wine. Oyster Bay a cracker - but discovered Aldi's version - Freeman's Bay and got to say worth every penny.

Site Supporter Tonge moor green jacket Posted August 14, 2019 Site Supporter Share Posted August 14, 2019 Kinell, I'll open a shop! Joking aside, on occasions I've wondered whether to have a go commercially- the cider mon at Bradley Fold has done it, as have plenty of others: yet some of these country wines which you can buy for quite a price are shite, and some are a cheat, just cheap base wine infused with some fruit or other. I've regularly made better. When I've got some ready, I will make some available for genuine critical comment. All done at volunteer's own risk. Maybe you need somewhere large, warm and airy to ferment your wine. 😂
