Big E
Any amazing effort from Widnes fans and rugby league folk in general however it’s looking like it could be too little too late.

I saw the Dr was down there last night putting his hand in his pocket. How much have you raised so far and how much do you need to keep afloat? Fingers crossed you make it

We raised enough in our squad builder to buy a couple of players wages for 7 games at the back end of last season @ c.£13k but in order to keep them and build on it we have had to raise another £60k but we are just standing still. I reckon we need to raise an extra £500k on top of all the other income each season just to break even. Thankfully current results are holding up and we are getting a few more through the turnstiles so we are ever hopeful. I sincerely hope you keep going mate
Big E
So the stage is up. She’s in the car park. Cleared her throat and done a sound check. It’s not over until the fat lady sings but it’s getting a bit close

Salford Trotter
Just back from a brilliant long weekend in Perpignan watching Salford RD. Absolutely stunning victory for the Les Diables Rouges and got to see some of the city too. £58 return from Manchester though Carcasonne airport is no bigger than Barton
Big E
Top weekend to be had there. Decent food and drink with a bit of sunshine makes it ace.

Loads of little areas of the city with their own personality but we stayed well clear of the Algerian part from previous experience. We even had a few Leythers, and non rugby league fans join us for the trip which was great fun. It is a definite for next year
Leyther_Matt
Loved our visit in 2017. Thought Perpignan was lovely and Canet is a beaut of a place. Certainly don’t see the attraction in going to Lloret for a few days and being bussed in and out for the game in comparison.
Salford Trotter
From relegation second favourites at the start of the season to get within 80 minutes from the Grand Final, Salford Red Devils have had a fantastic season. Just the pie eaters to go now What a tackle! https://twitter.com/SuperLeague/status/1177303521730994176?s=20 Edited September 29, 2019 by Salford Trotter
