no balls
I don't care if folk can't be arsed or if they think it's been hijacked by the right, I've just walked through Clitheroe town centre and every single shop has a flag flying in readiness and HTown will no doubt have the annual Morris dance piss up through the centre too. I like stuff like this

frank_spencer
I'm no scare mongererererer, Frank but I'm pretty sure Bolton Council can take no credit for HTown's celebrations. Theres no need for them to. Theyve been going for donkeys years. But whats the point in the council organising an event when there's one in place already? The st Georges day festivities bring folk from all over in to horridge and must do wonders for the coffers of shops, cafes and hostelries. Any event which detracts from that will only draw criticism. no balls
Sorry, what I thought you were saying it was organised by Morris and his friends, so I was getting on my highish horse then Keep the outsiders out though, they can do their own thing in the ghettos In all seriousness, it's a bizarre thing to watch but a good excuse for a drink so it's reet. Ask Smiffs the first year he saw it! Edited April 9, 2014 by no balls
