It wont solve the pain but it's a distraction away from it. Try chewing tin foil, that's supposed to sooth it too The advice on tinfoil is a sound one, Penguin biscuits used to be wrapped in tinfoil, I look back, and fondly remember the joy received whilst biting into one that was not fully unwrapped.
