DaveTheRave
One of the best days of my life. Don't think i've ever gone as mental as I did when Fabian equalised. Brilliant day.

Site Supporter Biggish Dave Posted May 30, 2014 Site Supporter Share Posted May 30, 2014 That season in general was superb - cup final, promotion at Wembley and 2 incredible atmospheres at Burnden in the semi's en-route to Wembley. Leyther_Matt
Cardiff was better. Probably because I wasn't sat in the car listening to GMR at Quarry Bank bastard Mill.

I was stuck on a coach on the way to spain
freds dad
When we were 2-0 down I nearly got thrown out of Wembley for threatening the bloke behind me who was booing and slagging off the team. Perhaps he was related to Anewman.

frank_spencer
Me and poppa Spencer watched it on eurosport from our hotel room in Disneyland Paris. Which was much to mothers disgust who dragged my little brother off to 'actually have a bloody holiday'. I remember my lemon cola from the diner tasted extra tasty that night. Site Supporter Spider Posted May 31, 2014 Site Supporter Share Posted May 31, 2014 I couldn't watch their penalty Still not seen it to this day just in case the space time continuum breaks and we end up losing. Beyond magical that day.
tomski
A Reading fan asked me what it was like to lose at wembley twice in one season? He nearly broke me, but I have had a dislike of them ever since!
paulhanley
We had so many injuries that day - 3 or 4 key players were out. It was amazing that we managed to outlast Reading in the last 15 mins and in to extra time. Remember being on the train home naming all the teams we'd be playing in the Prem for the first time in years.
