Tyler Durden
If he didn't put any money in, we'd have gone under months ago. What an utterly stupid comment. And on this forum, that's saying something. This.
Mounts Kipper
I think Eddie stopped us going bust right at the beginning If I remember correctly the cooperative bank were going to pull our overdraft and that's when he got involved. People have to understand there is no money in running BWFC as a football club our support is not big enough never has been never will be the fact that we are and have been a top 20 club for most of our history is amazing. We were breaking even / making small profits for a while. Though BWFC has always had trouble with banks ever since I was a lad. There was late 60's, early 70's, then the early 80's. I wonder what would promotion would bring us if we went up next season. Would bwfc be able to clear it's debts?

Historically, we're one of the top three supported clubs in Lancashire/Greater Manchester. Something we should all be proud of. The problem is that there are too many other teams in our catchment area.

And so was I the innocence/stupidness of youth. Or did we want them to spend their money? As our £1.20 a week entrance fee wasn't gonna get us very far. funny some adults even now think there's a pot of gold from only 9000 season ticket holders.
