20 years since Ive gone fuck it Im doing an all dayer on me todd.

So today I set of at noon, went into Blackburn had a pint or so, bus into Accy had a pint or so, back into Blackburn for a pint or so, into Burnley for a ....well you get the idea  ..... then out into the sticks for a pint or so, then home for a pint or so.

In every pub I went into, and I made it a mission to go into pubs Id never been in before, I was asked

"who are ya?" meaning which team.

In all the Blackburn pubs they were getting antsy cos they thought I might be Burnley.

In all the Burnley pubs they got antsy cos they though I might be Blackburn etc etc etc

In every pub when I said I was Bolton , they all backed right off and asked who I knew.

I made up some bollocks names and watched as they all nodded.

Now admittedly these weren't hardcore pubs but rough enough.

And they were all in the same mind of not giving the "Bolton lad" any shit.

Laughed my tackle off after id been in every one !

ps dropped the quiz machine in 2 different pubs .

Have you ever been for a drink in a pub?

If you mean Alcohol then no, tbh it's not my kind of thing, though i have plenty of times, I certainly wouldn't scare anyone and why would I want to? If people were asking those type of questions I'd probably think hooligans and walk away, though I'd not go into a pub on my own just for a drink.

Would you go into a post office on your own to buy a stamp?

Or a bacon butty shop to buy a bacon butty?

If so why not a pub to buy a drink?

I have lots to drink at home (not alcohol) and I'd make a bacon butty if I had the stuff, if I was desperate for a stamp, then I'd have to get one if there was none lying around,

I wouldn't travel somewhere farish for a coke(whatever) then think what next? I'm alone and not thirsty anymore. hometime? goes home, looks in fridge, full bottle of coke,

Serious question, if someone asked you what team you support, you'd think hooligan ?

It happens all the time on pubs, it's called socialising and general conversation, especially if you go in somewhere where your not from, people have a curiosity, someone was in the local last week with a midlands accent , so I asked him, in general conversation , thinking villa/ wolves or whatever , turned out to be west brom , so we had a conversation over a pint , it's perfectly normal behaviour to be honest!

The bit in I've taken from Waddys post got me thinking Hooligans and drunky violent types.

I've been asked plenty of times in nice general chat situations and had a convo but Waddys post never came across as one of those situations, it came across like the video I posted,

They sound like a proper supporter but there's always the risk that they'll say they support Utd, in their broad midlands accent. There's nothing worse than having to listen to some plastic who couldn't find Old Trafford on a map.
