Lured to it by the promise of cheap Peroni which they came through with. 35 scooters went up there to meet up with around 60 Ducati's, 20 Ferrari's, 8 Lamborghini's, a dozen or so Maserati's and about a hundred assorted Fiats, Alfa's, etc. Couldn't be arsed queueing for an hour to fill out insurance forms etc. to bazz around the track so only a dozen joined the procession laps whilst the majority did what scooter clubs do best - drink. Cool and shitty sunny spring weather at around 24C so better off in the bar. All this preamble was to post this which I thought was very good (well I would, wouldn't I). One I did see one with Kent splattered across the front, wonder if you arch-nemesis is secretly a scooter boy? Brighton, Camber Sands, Kelso, Mersea Island - they all pale into insignificance when compared to the 7 - 8,000 which attend the IOW.
