Been all along that stretch many times. Positano the best place IMO. Sorrento (on the Napoli side) probably the worst (package holiday destination). Capri is the worst rip off joint. 10 euros for a bottle of water. Did the Grotto Azzurro thing and the fuckers demanded the same money again to row us back out as we paid up front! They did it for nothing when it was politely pointed out that they'd be in the fucking drink and we'd row ourselves out if they didn't stop fucking about! Used to be a cracking nightclub in a cave in the cliff face at Maiori. Was called Club Africana but operates under a different name now I believe. Minori is nice; wouldn't bother with Vietri unless you are into ceramics in a big way! As an aside, that coastal road is a superb scooter ride! Just take some supplies with you, water etc, to avoid the real piss taking. Pompeii is pretty incredible too.
