tomski
The Girona v Barca thing is bad news. Starts a slippery slope despite paying compo quite handsomely to fans. That Serrano bloke at Man City has been a big driver of this. Watch this space.

jayjayoghani
https://www.fcbarcelona.com/mes-que-un-club More than a club because we feel that such VALUES as humility, effort, teamwork and respect are just as important a part of the way we play as winning. Fuck off.

birch-chorley
I'm all for these foreign games, no chance of us getting into Europe any time soon Ipswich v Bolton in Miami would be great, beats going to Ipswich and would probably take the same time to get there

frank_spencer
As a big fan of the nfl games in London it'd be a bit hypocritical to be against the footy being played abroad. It looks like they're following the nfl model of the 'smaller' club losing a home game to make a butt load of money selling out a bigger stadium. MalcolmW
Sunderland and Southend had players sent off at the weekend Football league say their ban doesn't include the checkatrade cup matches But they are ineligible to play. How does that work? I would guess that they are suspended until the appropriate number of counting matches have been completed, and are thus also banned for other matches such as Chuckatrade during that period. That's my hunch, but maybe you could google it?
