They weren’t showboating or taking the piss, just a world apart.

They had to press on.

Id want us to score 56 every game.

Just 1 or 2 would do for now.

If we had a Billionaire owner then i'd expect 9-0 every week obvs.

What happened to Burton is exactly what should happen when any premiership side meets poverty. It should end in humiliation, little kids with faces painted crying on live tv and the romantic notion of the underdog being victorious in tatters.

I agree.
Just because you're winning doesn't mean you have to let up.

Do we want runners to slow down if leading?
Do we want snooker players heading for a 147 to miss on purpose after the 10th red?
etc etc

We should always want our sport stars to strive for excellence/perfection.

Bollocks, how often would you get the chance to see your team hit 10, regardless of who it's against.

They are wankers, but any team would try for 10 if they could. Fair play to them for not easing off which might have been even more of a piss take

This with bells on.

As their manager said it shows respect to the opposition, fans and the competition to keep going.

Fucking about would be patronising, and might result in an injury to a player from an affronted Burton player.

As a fan, you'd want to see your team get into double figures.

Spurs v Chelsea was 44000.

Only the two 'isteree clubs drawing from millions of tourists would have sold out.

Just seen that, but looking at Spurs attendances they range so much no steady amount.

arsenal Liverpool & United would of sold out for a semi, even the likes of Everton & West Ham probably would of tbf

Spurs attendances have been capped by Brent Council due to the on going issues of using Wembley when they originally said they would be in their new ground by now

Whether 44,000 was that cap for the other night I don't know. But there's plenty of pissed off fans who won't go to Wembley as the continuous delays weren't what they were promised by Levy

They are talking about march before they move in. First game planned was arsenal but the police and council deem it too high risk for an opening game

The whole thing is a farce though. S/t holders told they would be in the new stadium when they played Man city months ago

Know people who work in building regs who have been to the stadium and say it's an absolute mess.

Then you get the usual stories of arsenal fans doing various things to the ground as workers
