Still maintain that if City had not lost Laporte it would be a lot closer. Just closer - Liverpool would still come out on top this time around I reckon. I can't see Liverpool sustaining it for a decade on smaller crowds than West Ham, Tottenham and Arsenal get, let alone 20,000 a game less than United get. Wasn't fully explained earlier. Makes a bit more sense than a minute's 'thinking time'. Plenty of top footballers ha e contributed too. Hope it helps.
