Yebbut, shouldn’t the odds be stacked towards the attacking team?

Surely the reason for a penalty is penalise the defending team.

The infringement has generally been committed to try and prevent a goal, so I’ve no sympathy for any goalie.

Agree with this completely.

No sympathy for any keeper who is penalised for this.

Is shooting from 12 yards not advantage enough?

What about penalty shoot outs?

Is the same VAR process put in to adjudicating a penalty shoot-out? Of course, it should be the same rule for every penalty but a ref is assisted by two others. If between them they can’t make the right decision then what’s the point?

Boring fayre being served up at the Manchester derby.I  suppose it's to be expected from a home midfield including Fred, Pogba and McTominay but for all the money thrown at City they don't have the standard of player they did 2 or 3 years ago

Did City try to keep Silva? He’s a massive loss for me, got a year or 2 left in him at top level yet

McCall sacked by Bratford fot 3rt time

Keith Hill has also turned Trampmere around from a winning team to losers in the space of 4 games, standard stuff from Chino, and no surprise.

Parkinson return?

The Premier League clubs with the lowest points totals ever: Watford (1999-2000) Norwich City (2019/20) Sunderland (2002-03) Aston Villa (2015-16) Huddersfield Town (2018/19) Sunderland (2005/06) Derby County (2007-08)

What was our first total? 26?
