Surprised the referee allowed City to benefit from two dodgy goals, Real Madrid knocked out of the CL by a small club that's being banned for cheating. How odd.

No big surprises that Wigan have come good and will be staying up, look at their easy run in.I bet their new owners are paying their players a lot more than £600 a week.

12,300 at promotion chasing Blackburn v Stoke?  How pisspoor is their support

If the first one is a foul we may as well give it up now.
Not sure what’s dodgy about the second one.
Suppose it’s a testament to how well such a small club can do against the biggest club in the world 😁

I listened on the radio. City did a job on them and deserved it.

Only seen the penalty incident once, in full speed, did seem soft, as is often the case with sterling, but I'll reserve judgement until I've seen it again.

At speed doesn’t play the ball catches the man in the box. No brainer.

Seemed like sterling was already falling though. It's what he's good at, been plenty before and will be after him. Always will be a debate about, diving, drawing in the foul etc.

Ultimately ref gave it, and it wasn't overturned. And finally someone scored a penalty!!

If Carvajal doesn’t go to ground he doesn’t make  the refs mind up

Very true. The art of making folk put a challenge in.

Shearer was a master at it. Outside the box would hold it up well, and defenders would crop him, regularly. Then he'd make the most of it to ensure a free kick was given.

More than an art, it was a science too.
