Leyther_Matt Posted August 6, 2020 Share Posted August 6, 2020 I could be way off the mark but I think Droylsden were far more reliant on their owner(s) rather than necessarily the social club. They managed to go from Conference National down to NPL Div One (three relegations) in the space of a few seasons because the funding was withdrawn.
