Moderators Carlos Posted November 17, 2014 Moderators Share Posted November 17, 2014 I'd got for £20. Seen Messi play in the Champions League for less, so IAMOUT.
Smiley
Someone mentioned £40 and are they garanteed to play? Think most of the shit seats have gone. But for £60 you can get close to the dugout. I say £60, they charge 10% booking fee online. What a set of money grabbing cunts!
Sweep
I would imagine Diddles will be all over this, and will buy one of those "half and half" scarves as well

MalcolmW
Old Trafford Argentina Ronaldo What's not to like? I don't know whether MUFC or a third party stand to make money from this, but either way a heavy loss will help to prevent similar moneymaking exercises in the future. Onwards and downwards. Parked there and been home in 20 mins.

Just to add to their 9.9% revenue drop from last year. Sadly, I would have thought no matter how many tickets are sold, they'll be making money out of it. It'll no doubt be whoever has put the event on that will lose out.

Heard they only made 8.9 million profit which is slender very slender given their overheads and turnover I pray it gets worse for them. The only thing keeping them afloat is the tosspot sponsorship deals hope these drop off as they fail to regain and success on the pitch. Any Bolton fan putting any money into Man U pot should give their head a wobble. Edited November 18, 2014 by Mounts Kipper
Smiley
Apparently they got 41,000 last night, 4,000 less than necessary to break even. Oh dear. Business partner took his little lad. £60 adult £30 child £9 booking fees £5 programme £7 scarf £25 Pizza Hut £7 beer & coke in ground £30 share of return taxi Left 5 mins early and missed the goal. Priceless! But why did they charge so much and have a half empty stadium?
Moderators Casino Posted November 19, 2014 Moderators Share Posted November 19, 2014 taking 45 quid as the average ticket price, youre looking at 2 million as the break even figure 60k at those prices would have made them 700k 60k at 30 quid, they lose money in fact, the only way they make owt is having 70k in at 30 quid im not sure i could be arsed with that level of risk to make 100k

Smiley
in fact, the only way they make owt is having 70k in at 30 quid Buying food, drink, programmes, scarves, etc, etc. Personally didn't think it was well advertised myself. Only heard it on XFM at weekend. Guess Utd have been flogging it to their own fans though in recent weeks.
