Traf
I had to turn it off after 10 minutes. Firstly they murdered the first track and then soon after I'd had enough of Mrs lampard's whiny grating voice and looks.

Smiley
Never forget the moment our train pulled into the station at Spandau on the way from Berlin to Hamburg. A lot of startled and bewildered German commuters stunned at 12-15 drunken Englishmen standing from their seats and bawling out "Gold always believe in your soul"

It was looking like I had to go to an Il Divo concert there last month but managed to dodge that particular bullet.
Site Supporter Spider Posted November 21, 2014 Site Supporter Share Posted November 21, 2014 I don't "get" Spandau Ballet. Seems they were very popular but every song I hear makes me feel a bit sick. Definitely had to be there.

Burndens Bogs
When Spandau Ballet started having hits around 1981,Punk had died,Post punk was getting tired,Disco was becoming tedious. Their debut single "To cut a long story short" sounded fresh at the time and some of their subsequent stuff was well written and well sung imo. So all in all, they deserved their place as one of the biggest bands of the decade. I must admit to being a bit of a fan of cheesy 80's music though.
