stevieb
After a cheap DAB radio that can play tunes from my phone over WiFi or Bluetooth. It's only for the dining room or kitchen, nowt spesh or high performance. Don't have plans to add to any other rooms in the house. Any suggestions other than bose / sonos? Sweep
I've got one of these: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Roberts-Blutune-Bluetooth-System-speaker/dp/B008PS7I9A/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1427670247&sr=8-1&keywords=Dab+Bluetooth It's excellent
ItsAllWhite
Been looking at one of those myself. Was wondering what the sound quality was like when you turn it up (so can hear it when sat in the garden - in the event we may have a nice summer for once). Does it go tinny or maintain a good sound? Was contemplating going to test it in Curries - but didn't want to be that knob that turns the speakers up loud who everyone scowls at. It's certainly not tinny

Compo
Can us shit fans get GMR on dab for away games as I can't get it here on the old fashioned wireless? Or is it not on because of all that contractual obligations bollocks?
DazBob
BBC Manc is on DAB. Dunno if it's available away from the region though. Oh and I have the same radio as CWP. Sound is very good and lots of bass for such a small unit. Not tinny at all IMO. Edited March 30, 2015 by DazBob
no balls
I've got one of these: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Roberts-Blutune-Bluetooth-System-speaker/dp/B008PS7I9A/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1427670247&sr=8-1&keywords=Dab+Bluetooth It's excellent The oldies have a Roberts DAB in the summer house which throws out an aria all across the garden of a summer's evening. They are indeed a good sound.
stevieb
We had a small dab docking station but its gone walkabout. I miss Jack dearden saying "from whence it came" of a Saturday afternoon

Traf
I have the same radio as CWP. Sound is very good and lots of bass for such a small unit. Not tinny at all IMO. Seeing as you share a flat in Halliwell, pointless having two radios.

Sweep
Erm, studio apartment thank you very much. I'm talking about the Halliwell residence, not the city centre loft apartment
ItsAllWhite
Thanks again CWP. Bought one a couple of weeks ago - and not had chance to report back. Have made the most of it, sitting in the garden with a pint in hand basking in the Atherton sunshine whilst on paternity leave listening to the radio. Very impressed with the quality for the price.
