I don't spend all this money for wankers like that to do what they want, it's not a jolly boys for them, there's zero respect to us as fans that would love to earn what they do.

Lennon clarified the reasoning for Barry Bannan and Neil Danns’ absence from the matchday squad.

 

“We’ve dealt with that issue internally. We set standards at the club and whilst we don’t mind players going out and socialising, there’s a line that you simply can’t cross.

 

“The players have been disciplined and we’ll look at it next week.”
