Here We Go - Itk Transfer Gossip

Regarding Holden would we still not get a fee for him due to him being below 24? Surely using him for the last year of the contract to get us out of league 1 and then letting him go to a big club next year would be best. Burnley got about £6.5m for Ings plus a 20% signing on fee from Liverpool, plus remember the ridiculous money West ham got for hall from us. Don't understand the urgency to sell him when clubs are trying to get him for peanuts.

Holding been called up to England under 21s for Toulon tournament after galloway of Everton pulls out through injury.

Hopefully a few good games might put his price up.

We have managed to put a whole lot of distance between us and administration/oblivion.

Yesterday we saw a multitude of players going, so to further ease cash flow.

Budgets are now reconciled, as shitty as that is on most staff.

And yet we still navel gaze about the probability of one of our best ( and inexpensive) assets being sold.

We're under no pressure to sell, we won't sell. Chill.

We'd sell Norman Prince if it goes towards getting us back on an even keel.

I'd be mightily pissed off if we didn't sell every player if we got a reasonable price. And reasonable for this lad would be anything over 1.5million

Mr Nixon's Sun column this morning says Wenger is close to getting Holding for £1.2m up front and add ons on top of that.

I was hoping we might get £2m up front. Hopefully if we hold out a bit longer another bidder will come in to the field and we can get an auction going.

Realistically 1.5 million would be a fair price for the lad, but there's nothing realistic about the premiership. Screw them for every penny over 5 million.

We signed steve mcinespie for £900000 about 20 years ago

£1.2m upfront isn't enough. We need real money upfront, as well as add-ons.
