glennboltw
I have a small outhouse which used to house my old boiler. It's made of brick but inside is lined with what I believe to be asbestos. Does anyone know of anybody that gets rid of the stuff?

gonzo
Start saving up. Yep. In my old life we used Weldlag to remove some asbestos floor tiles which were under a raised access floor. 200m2. £12k. They came dressed like ET had just set up his broadband router in the disabled toilets.
glennboltw
Luckily it's only about 2 meters square of the stuff!
HR
I have a small outhouse which used to house my old boiler. It's made of brick but inside is lined with what I believe to be asbestos. Does anyone know of anybody that gets rid of the stuff?Try doing it yourself asbestos you can. If it's easy to identify as sheeting you can generally remove it and bag it up without cutting it or creating dust. You can get skips and fill them which are not too expensive again depending on the type. Edited June 28, 2015 by HR
embankment
Do not cut or smash it. Wear a face mask. Bag it. Tape it up. Take it little hulton recycling. DO NOT BREATH IT IN . MIND you when we were kids it always went on bonfires. Seriously don't mess with it.

gonzo
I reckon insulation and fire blanket will go the same way as asbestos one day and be condemned. I used to cough up blood after stints putting up fire blanket and insulating ceilings. MDF fibres are fuckers too.
stevieb
Spray it with silver spray paint and leave it in the back street and some gypo scrap metal chancer will have it off before you know it.
