Administration?

These are dark days. I don't see a suitable buyer coming forward at this stage so administration looks inevitable.

In hindsight we just weren't adequately prepared for dropping out of the prem.

The wage bill should have been blitzed in year 1 (post prem) so that the parachutes would have lasted a few more years.

We may have had to regroup in league 1 but allowing Coyle to blow our budget on Andrews, Mills as well as Sordell in the January before was suicidal.

Aye, what ED has done is take the 4 years parachute payments and then fuck it off.

how do you work out that hes taken anything in the last 4 years??

most of what he's 'owed' is in the accounts as a debt to him

...or he's talking to the insolvent couple behind his bid.

I've got more money than them.

Yep!

Sorry this is very much gallows humour.. ????

There must be another party involved with more behind them. The Deano thing is just a joke.

You have to stop defending ED he has taken interest payments out of the club 22 million from 2010-2014 and plenty more before that, granted he's probably still down on the deal but to do what he's doing right now is unforgivable, he's still very wealthy and should have seen this period through and has the wealth to do just that.

He's added interest to the debt which he will now wipe. Also I've heard that Eddie's family are blocking any more money going to the club. I don't know why but it is what I've heard. I'm not sure Eddie can keep putting money in even if he wanted to.

Let's be right, they've thrown money at it, enjoyed a gravy train for a while, but had no idea what would happen when the music stopped. It's bad business management not to have an exit strategy.

Nobody at the top end is coming out of this sucking their thumb, least of all Eddie and Phil. We've got a manager on half a million plus a year who was taken on a year ago for god's sake, so we've hardly been acting as if we've not got two ha'pennies together.

They've got the basics wrong - consistently - so the club can go bust for all I'm concerned and we can start at the very bottom. Everything is shite as it is, even gallows humour would be better than no humbour at all.

If he hasn't then the quoted debt is 22 million less than stated. FWIW I don't believe anything this lot say or do, lieing set of bastsrds. He's still worth plenty and could have seen us through this period. Edited by Mounts Kipper

He's obviously recouping as much as he can before he gets rid of the club.

how is what he is doing 'recouping as much as he can'

HIS assets are worth more out of admin

he could've been selling bits off for the last few years and then calling in his debt

i think you're so pissed ioff you cant see the wood for the trees

aye, those running the club have a responsibility in all this but all i9d criticise em for is not pulling the plug when we got relegated and nobody wanted that

I'm sorry but you are delusional if you really believe this.

There's lots of emotion flying around and things get said in the heat of the moment, but if you really, truly believe this then you probably also think that man's never been to the moon and that Bush blew up the twin towers.

As you say we should have pulled the plug as soon as we got relegated, capped any new players wages at a couple of grand a week and gone with what we had clearing the big earners as soon as the contracts were up

If you'd have said that to me at the time though Id have called you a fool as I thought investment would have got us up within a season or two. Its not that long ago Id have liked to have seen us plunge further into the mire to sign ALF, Juke Dawson etc

Suppose we didn't know how bad it was though and with a bit more visibility / knowledge of the situation maybe cutting back sooner would have been much more paletable

We need a full clear out / start again and hopefully we can turn a corner in terms of culture within the whole club / business

Not sure if that means league 1 but its certainly looking that way

and get the arses of anybody who claims to be a fan of our great club to the ground

for too long the people of bolton have taken this club for granted

lets show it means something to more than a few of us

Do people think ED is sat in his fildraw house mansion on the Isle of Man counting his cash whilst watching our demise on his flat screen telly on a pneumatic arm??

There's more to it than that. His companies can't raise the cash anymore to run this arm of their operation.

Have a look at the intricate network of his operations and off shore equity groups that have no trace that BB posted yesterday.

The game is up. ED's money hasn't run out. His companies ability to raise cash has come to an end.

It's not just him. He's a front for a network of consortiums with a gazillion companies registered to our address.

The game is up.
