Rizlar
Sick and tired of this waiting game nobody is going to buy us so let's get on with administration and start all over again, that's if we still have a club.
waffer cup 07
So why are the club still in negotiations. Surely new investors are playing a waiting game to get the club as cheap as possible. which will hopefully happen just before 16th of January. passmosster
Suspect after paying £1 a new buyer would have to assume debt to third parties. In addition to funding the club until costs are reduced to income. Sounds bleak, wonder if there's something in a redeemable preference share deal with a repayment kicker if we got to the Premiership. Some may think that it's a long shot, but you just have to be well organised to get there.
famouswanderer
I would consider putting in a bid at 50p, but £1 is a bit to steep

Moderators Casino Posted January 6, 2016 Moderators Share Posted January 6, 2016 one for folk who know, rather than guessers if we go into admin, things get sold to pay off the preferred creditors players and secured loans lets say thats 20 million ish other creditors are at lets say keeping it simple, 185 million 183 million to ED and 2 million to the queen and a few bits and bobs elsewhere am i a million miles off if i see that as not a bad outcome if ED was just in it for what he could get back

CambridgeBWFC
I posted something similar a few weeks back, if we go into admin will Eddie recoup some of his debts or do the administrators take into account the fact he has publicly stated that he will write these off to make a sale? If not then going into admin will benefit him more than a sale presumably and so the writing off the debt talk could be to save some face? Traf
As things stand, there's no sale to be had and administration looks like Hobson's Choice. That said, Eddie's no worse off if that happens.

Mounts Kipper
What happens to the players contracts in administration? do they get paid up for the full left on their contract? If so that would be serious money.
Moderators Casino Posted January 6, 2016 Moderators Share Posted January 6, 2016 if theyre sold it will depend on the terms of the deal if they cant be sold, i dunno good question
Traf
What happens to the players contracts in administration? do they get paid up for the full left on their contract? If so that would be serious money. They become preferential creditors, but would still only received an agreed percentage of what's owed.
