Yes let’s rearrange months of planning so that JC can have a private meeting.

Corbyn was accused of being unwilling to engage. Which is not the case. That is all. Would I meet Corbyn if I was Trump? No way. No way at all.

Corbyn invited Trump for a meeting - Trump said no. So there you go.

Doesn’t that just show what a hypocrite and two faced shithouse Corbyn is ?

He invites Trump, is swiftly rebuffed by the POTUS....then Corbyn goes and speaks on a Trump protest today.

That is priceless and sour grapes from Britain’s greatest political loser.

Without stating the blindingly obvious, it’s almost the 75th anniversary of D-Day.

Like May and Trump have both just said “the greatest alliance the world has ever seen”

Would you rather be speaking German ?

75 years ago...let that sink in.

There is an alliance when it suits them. And not when it doesn't. And 80 years ago they were happy to leave us high and dry.

He was always going to that protest. Your language reveals much about your mentality.

Was he really ?

Have you got proof on that ?

My language calling him a shithouse ?

My apologies......he’s a treacherous shithouse.

Sink in ?

Oooh, you’ve been reading too much of Paul Watson.

75 years ago you say ?

What about the recent wars we’ve been an ally of theirs in ?

Let that sink in.

Did you have this attitude when Obama was President, or does the 'special relationship' only apply when the President is a white supremacist?

Did he ask for a meeting before or after he boycotted the dinner?

Here we go...you know better than the Queen...

Quite ironic when she speaks of decades of security and peace isn’t it ?

Something you bleat about re the EU isn’t it ?

But...you know better than the Queen.

Not sure it matters really. Corbyn was never going to attend that. Rightly so. I don't think Corbyn gets much right but he got that right. Along with extending an offer of talks. I have a lot of respect for anyone who said "bollocks to this" with regard to that dinner.

Do those decades of security and peace thanks to our "allegiance" to the USA include the last 20 years or so? Interesting if so. We've certainly made the world a safer place by supporting their conflict.....oh......

No I'm not on a wind up

Its been a statement made for years. The anniversary of D-Day doesn't come into my question so why you should use to to undermine my question

Actually I probably do

So what is this special relationship?

She's giving a speech at a state banquet

She's hardly going to slag of the guest

Shows the kind of man he is, he knew his offer of talks would of (rightly so) been fucked off. He’s just made himself look a fool which lets face it he has a habit of doing.

For once he's absolutely played it right. Would have been suicide for him being there with all that nonsense.

Anyhow the real issue is - what the hell happened to Trump's suit.....

I do t get all this talk about ‘not letting him in’

fucking bonkers, he’s the President of the United States ffs! It’s up to them who they vote for, we just have to try and work with them

I’m no fan of his policies don’t get me wrong, but refusing entry as Sadiq Khan said is irrational and not what the Mayor of London should be saying

If he’s played it right why is he getting attacked from all sides about it? The man meets with terror group leaders but won’t meet Trump. It’s quite bizarre.

Attacked from all sides? Really? You mean the usual suspects. Who would attack him if he went or not.

Those students who would still vote for him will be the ones at the protest....

I dunno. Depends where you draw the line. You could pretty much say the same for any leader of a developed nation in the last 200 years - but we'd not have held our nose and welcomed all of them.....
