yes, norway and the swiss get to trade openly with the EU but they also had to sign up to open borders, so anybody thinking we can get the benefits while closing the borders is mistaken, imo

Its still a deficit that is far too much. Like I said previously the amount depends on all this magic trade it produces, you know the stuff they only buy because we pay them  to do so. We actually pay in £13 billion gross.

 

What nobody has raised yet is the hidden cost of bailing out the Euro in the next crisis. As the mechanism stands those countries who "do" directly bail it out are able to get full reimbursement from the general budget minus admin expenses, and all members are responsible for maintaining the general fund.
