birch-chorley Posted May 10, 2016 Share Posted May 10, 2016 It's the side of a volcano full of wedding parties Literally 99% of everyone there is at a wedding Nice place, very small, we stayed in Fira which is the main town and is on the steep slope looking in at the centre of the volcano Loads of nice places to eat, foods really good, great views as well Beaches are shite on the other side as its volcanic Get a quad bike, everyone's on them, we watched the first half of a game in a boozer on one side of the island (Kamari) and made second half kick off back in Fira Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Wouldn't bother going to see the 'active'part of the volcano again - it's basically a tiny bit of steam coming out of a black swamp. Oia was the best bit. Spend as much time there as you can.
