Good finish to the season and scrape into the play offs in 6th. Charlton, Sheff U, Millwall, MKD up there. Gillingham and Peterborough dark horses. bolton va va Posted August 5, 2016 Share Posted August 5, 2016 The squad looks alright on paper but we still don't know what our best 1st team is, & it looks a bit thin in several areas........full backs, goalscorer, wingers or pacy forwards & a big midfield ballwinner/leader.(i'll be worried if Pratley remains as captain ) On the plus side, Ken has impressed by taking the hard decisions rather than looking for short term popularity, signing Wheater is good news (if he's fit) & Parkinson looks a great choice as manager, so long as he is given time to rebuild & improve us year on year as he did at Bratfud. Prediction......a slow start as we look for our best team & adapt to Div 1 with a good chance of losses at Wimbledon & Bristol who are still on a promotion high, but a gradual improvement over the season, & if we're lucky with injuries (Clough & Wheater especially ), maybe the playoffs !!
