DIPS
Great planning again, just when then football season is about to start. Why didn't they just doit when the bridges were getting work done and the line already closed?!?
Morizio
Great planning again, just when then football season is about to start. Why didn't they just doit when the bridges were getting work done and the line already closed?!? Because that way they wouldn't have been able to maximise the amount of people they could piss off. Outstanding timing again. What will the odds be on some other unexpected delay?
Marc505
Heard on the ITK grapevine itll be after Christmas. The work done previously was done by a different firm. This new lot that have come in are having to either re-do what was done or start again. That rail replacement coach leathering it down country lanes to go to Lostock Station to pick nobody up... i thought those days were gone! gonzo
Just as the work finishes at HP it starts between Blackpool and Preston. Again. I can see me missing a lot of matches again this season
birch-chorley
I don't think they are thinking about our league 1 fixtures when they look to run rail infrastructure projects
kent_white
ITK - we've sold the track and station to Wigan and it is going to be moved brick by brick over the next 8 weeks.
embankment
We don't half put up with some crap round here. No bloody trains AGAIN. 50mph on the motorway and the town's a dumping ground for Syria's finest.
SoberDan
Think I mentioned this in another thread, Bolton to Wigan line is also f*cked in September as well.
Ani
The M62 has been fucked for about last ten years. I have no sympathy for any of you local fuckers.

SoberDan
Bury doesn't have a rail station, neither does Fleetwood or Oldham, Northern powerhouse my arse. Meanwhile I have just clicked on National Rail Enquiries and at the top is an advert saying "Don't chance it, avoid the roadwork's, get the train......" gonzo
If you can get to poulton on train, Fleetwood is ten minutes away in a cab.
frank_spencer
There's a bus from Blackpool to bury. Or there used to be. If not just pile on a coach headed for the market.
SoberDan
Yeah, but that's not the point, you can get the tram to Oldham but the point is there should be the rail network there, I mean Redcar British Steel still has a station despite the plant being closed!
